I have spent 2 years (off & on) and close to $10,000 and feel it's both bad and good. The good: You get high quality nutritional supplements, drops, capsules, and liquids.

You get notebooks and tools to use and to read. You get constant contact and support of a very high level. You get scans every 2 weeks to track how much visceral fat is melting off of your body (the kind that clogs your internal organs), and it checks to see if your cells are properly hydrated. For me, that was helpful to know, because I had interstitial hydration, meaning my cells were actually dehydrated, but I had excess fluid all around the cell but not inside of the cells...

There is a ton of support and all questions are answered. They give you a good list of foods you are to eat that are best for fat burning, specifically designed for your body and its specific needs. This program is all about losing fat, not just weight, so while pounds do come off, they're exceedingly productive pounds, as it's more about getting internally healthy, which is important to me. The bad: It's crazy expensive.

It's also very labor intensive, as you have to weigh daily and text it in, plus you have drops to take at certain times throughout the day, plus I had to mix certain liquid supplements into alkalized water to drink throughout the day, and I had certain nutritional supplements (capsules) to take throughout the day, too. You also have to go in every 2 weeks for those body composition scans to track the water %, the body fat %, the visceral fat %, the BMI #, the bone density, your weight of course, and to generally track every last thing to keep you on course and to keep you healthy. Plus, to replenish your supply of supplements. So while that's quite helpful, it's super time consuming.

The food part was exceedingly strict and restrictive, but at the same time very simple: organic free range lean proteins, organic non-starchy veggies, and organic fruits, and that's it! And just twice a day. No fats, no starches, no grains, no dairy, and absolutely no sugar!! (Other than the fruit sugars naturally occurring in your daily fruits) About 500 calories a day, plus all the specialized waters, drops, and supplements.

And 20 minutes of walking daily. After 48 days of that, you get to add back in the healthy fats (organic avocado, organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic grass fed butter, etc), and after that, you gradually add back in other previously forbidden organic foods. It's kind of a hyper-Paleo Diet... I lost weight for sure, but wouldn't anyone on 500 calories a day?

At least they were exceptionally healthy, organic, and nutrient-dense calories, not just empty calories... The problem is, and why I went back several times over 2 years, is that it is not sustainable! I am going to do it in my own, from now on, as I have 25 lbs to still lose, but I will take in 1100 calories, not 500, but if it's just lean protein, non-starchy veggies, and fruit, with zero grains, zero sugars, zero starch, and zero dairy, with only minimal healthy fats, I truly believe I can duplicate my weight loss even without their special drops. I have high quality nutritional supplements of my own, and will hydrate well, too, and 1100 calories won't put me in starvation mode like 500 calories clearly does, so maybe my metabolism won't get wrecked, which I think it was with NutriMost So Cal...

As a person with Hashimoto's, losing weight is a constant battle, but I'm a size 4 now, not a size 14, and I truly believe I can now shed the final 25 pounds on my own... But after 2 years (off & on) and $10,000, that's a very hard and expensive and time consuming and maybe even an unhealthy way to have lost 40 pounds... (And their slogan is to lose 40 pounds in 40 days! That is SO enticing!!

That never happened for me!! BUT, they do at least guarantee 20 pounds, and I did get one round for free once, when I did not lose 20 pounds in 40 days)... Quite frankly, they've made SO much money off of me, as I've paid for 3 $2500 rounds, plus 3 $500 extensions... Plus I've paid for supplements, once the free ones ran out after 40 or 50 days...

And I'm SO financially broke now!! But I am ever so slightly healthier, I hope... Like I said, this is bad, but it has some good in there, too... The staff is great, they are kind and caring and sweet, and they do their best to be helpful, and there is a doctor (a DC), who supervises the whole thing and meets with you, too, and answers all questions.

They want you to succeed!! They'd love it if you were a walking advertisement for them... Sadly, I was not! I struggled to lose 20 pounds each round, and sometimes I failed that...

And I did everything perfectly! Followed it all to the letter!! It was SO challenging, but they were so helpful...

Still, I cannot recommend it, as it's too restrictive, (500 calories a day is not healthy), it's too complicated, with all the drops and specialized waters and various supplements and special salts to take at certain times throughout each day, plus it's too time consuming, having to text in your weight daily and go have scans done every 10 days to 2 weeks, and it's just far too crazy-expensive... I hope my review was helpful to those out there wondering about NutriMost So Cal...

Reason of review: Bad quality.
